Jesus first and foremost calls us into a relationship with Him. Many people are easygoing and lukewarm about Jesus's message but the reality is that He was an explicit figure who demanded immediate obedience and made it clear that you can't take Him with a lukewarm heart. You must either accept or reject Him; and being undecided or moderate is rejecting Him.
Accepting Jesus and beginning in Him again fundamemtally overturns our entire lives. If we have fully accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we are His children whether we feel it or not and it's a relationship beyond feelings.
