I didn't realise how many drivers were banned from racing in the 1994 F1 season. I counted 3 drivers that got banned that season.

The drought is an unfair thing to point out without also pointing out that the regulations have become way more severe and stiff in the last 2 years and Gasly nearly was banned last season and was just one penalty under the threshold.

We need the same stewards at every race or better training and guidelines because different drivers at different races get different punishments for the same offence.

The Magnussen 12 points incidents weren't at all as severe as these examples shown. Magnussen never endangered another driver, didn't ignore mentioned rules either.
He just accumulated a lot of small ones in a short period. He's a victim of the more strict way in which FIA wants F1 to be raced.

Grosjean ban made his career having a big crack. Hamilton had a place to turn into right but still seeing Grosjean there he didnt slow down a bit. Everything later made it into Grosjean being a maniac and destroyed his career a bit, undeservedly

Getting 10s penalty for a overtake move that even the rival is saying was okay and unfair was the penalty is insane
Daniel Riccardo literally intentionally took out Hulk in lap 1 at 300kph and even admitted that he knew Hulk was there but only 5s and no penalty points is insane and show how unfair stwerds are

For Villeneuve's case, I think he planned it all along: To get rid of that suspended suspension, he had to break the rule. Appeal the decision and race, try to block Michael so that many drivers would pass them and not let Michael score many points. (Villeneuve at a 9 points lead at that time so, if Micheal finishes 8, Villeneuve would withdraw his appeal and Micheal would inherit seventh place, not enough to score a point, giving enough margin for Villeneuve to win the championship at Jerez.

(But as we know, his plan failed and he had absolutely no margin to win the championship. He HAD to finish in front of Schumacher no matter what.)
