AFTERBUZZ TV — UnREAL edition, is a weekly "after show" for fans of Lifetime's UnREAL. In this episode hosts Nicholas Grava, Alison Dean, Aja Seldon, and Sam Davidson break down episode 1 of Season 1. Set against the backdrop of the hit dating competition show "Everlasting," "UnREAL" is led by flawed heroine Rachel Goldberg (Appleby), a young producer whose sole job is to manipulate her relationships with, and among, the contestants to get the vital dramatic and outrageous footage that the program’s dispassionate executive producer, Quinn King (Zimmer), demands. What ensues is an eye-opening look at what happens in the outrageous world of unscripted television, where being a contestant can be vicious and being a producer a whole other reality.

Wow I wasn't planing to watch the full 44 minutes but you guys totally kept me entertained👏😄

The only thing I hate about this show is that UnREAL is on Mondays at Lifetime which sucks cause everything is on Monday which can be both a good thing and a bad thing. So glad Sam and the panel are covering this show. I was going to watch it anyway cause its like a behind a scenes look at the Bachelor franchise. Lets be honest Quinn doesn't care about the women. She is desperate to get a paycheck and she is sleeping with Clint. Adam reminds me of Prince Lorenzo who was the 14th bachelor. I think Adam is just "pretending" to be a prince cause of the fact that he needs to get rid of his bad boy reputation. This show is so real to a T. I am surprised that this isnt being staged as a "reality drama". This show did really well in ratings. It got 820, 000 in viewers. This is without DVR viewers like myself who watched the show later. It is also real with Shaniqua cause they wont have a black bachelorette or bachelor. It isnt about viewers, I think producers dont think a black bachelor or bachelorette is a good storyline.

Quinn is just her actor's character from Entourage with zero changes. Chet is Jeremy Piven's character 😂

One thing I disagree with is you said that someone definitely wouldn't get on ABC if they were arrested...but both Chris Soules and Jade from the bachelor have been arrested in the past.

I think the majority of the staff know what they are doing is wrong but they either now their heads in the sand or don't care. Rachel cares too much.
