Anubis: The Ride | Off-Ride | Plopsaland De Panne (2021)

Anubis is a Gerstlauer launched coaster located at Plopsaland De Panne in De Panne, Belgium. It opened in 2009 and was the park’s only major thrill coaster until The Ride to Happiness, the park’s already world-renowned Mack Xtreme Spinner, opened this past summer. Anubis still packs its own kind of punch, though, with a powerful 90 km/h launch and three inversions, the last of which delivering some good hangtime. The experience seem to vast quite a bit depending on where you sit, as I found the front row to be quite smooth, while the opposite was true for the back, so I’d definitely go for the front row next time. Be prepared also for long and slow lines due to a low 700 pph capacity.
