So I also have the Shikar sticks. I've been running four 20" sticks with aiders if needed. I hunt Kansas so I really don't climb very high a lot of the time.
This year year coming, I decide to go with the mini shikar sticks. I ordered 5 and all with three step aiders. I do climb high here in SC but a few mini sticks and aiders in the mid west should be great.
Opinions?

Another guy on YouTube looped his aider over his steps to get the aider away from the tree. Did you have trouble stepping into your aider with your boots? I'm about to make my aiders, and I'm going to add length if I need to loop them over the step. Thanks for the video.

I ended up going with the OOAL FXD sticks. Thanks for the video. You running the Mystery Ranch PU with these? I was thinking about laying the FXD sticks horizontally across an Eberlestock X2 possibly. What feedback to you have on packs?
