For those who would say Mariah "can't sing", or was ever phoning it in, her mother, God rest her, was Juilliard School of Music trained, and sang with the Metropolitan Opera for many years. You do NOT grow up in *that house*, not knowing how to throw down!!!! I am a retired music pastor's daughter, and have been singing since I could talk, at 53. That's a lifetime. I have 2 and 1/4 octaves, to Mariah's 5. Music Business Bachelors, and she is a big influence, for her Grace and determination. Her detractors need take several seats. She's worked her butt off for everything she's been blessed with. That's quite obvious. I haven't seen any other artist quote scripture in their CD booklets in mainstream, either. "Charmbracelet" comes to mind. Mariah's a woman of strong Faith. That's obvious in this performance. It's why she has remained a constant for the last 30 years in a fly-by-night industry. I wish her a Merry Christmas, 2024. This one's gonna be tough, having lost Patricia this year. I couldn't imagine losing my Mom. MC is brave, classy and God-Gifted. We are better for it.

One of the greatest vocal climaxes I have ever heard in my life. The arrangement, the choir, the orchestra, and obviously her impeccable voice. What a phenomenon Mariah is. A true musical genius!
