5:37 one of my friends goes to hanlim with leeseo, and she says she doesn’t attend school 90% of the time bc of how busy her schedule is. It’s not easy to host a music show, promote comebacks, go on world tours and do school too.

The Asian Grammy’s are as you said basically just segregation as we all know you put bts and black pink in an category and they will win over most all America artists except maybe Taylor Swift. Also I totally forgot that like yeah underage idols still go to school which for me is like 7 hours a day + at least 4-6 doing music shows combacks and training. When would she even sleep, great point that I think fans don’t remember as much about underage idols

you are so right with he jype thing, it also draws attention from one group to another like if stray kids and nmixx had a comeback at the same time, people would also use it as an oppurtunity to compare 2 groups together for no reason other than close proximity for comeback timing

leeseo was also announced as mc of inkigayo I just wonder why cant these music shows ever find legal adults as mc

You're so right with Eunchae!! She's an absolutely fantastic MC, but I do worry for her mental health. I mean... she did audition for the MC role herself. But I do worry that she chose being an MC over continuing her studies in school (Eunchae has said she did drop out of high school, I think.)

Thank you for raising awareness about Eunchae and her being in this complex situation!

i am literally the biggest kep1er fan ever, and seeing yeseo and mashiro going to limelight so they can continue making music in a permanent group rather than one thats basically a bit countdown is AMAZING NEWS!! obviously i wish kep1er could be forever but it cant be, so this is the best outcome for yeshiro and the girls because they all get to make music longer!!

as an eunchae bias, i was confused when you said eunchae shouldnt be mc but then i realised you were actually right. its so weird seeing a 17 year old flirt w older men and being there every week must be so tiring too. as u said lsfrm has probably been one of the most hated groups this year and music bank helps haters just to hate on her even more than they do. she does have 6 other days of the week to practice though and we cant really judge because we dont know her schedule. she also probably goes to school and the school system there isnt exactly the easiest to get by

Exactly, Le Sserafim are my ult group, but it was so weird to me, how they just threw Eunchae to MC music bank at such a young age and with already such a right schedule. She's great at it, but I don't think it's good for her and I'm very weirded out by some of the dialogue she has with the other MC. On the same note, why did ZB1's Yujin, Ive's Leeseo and Moon Seonghyun become the Inkigayo MCs? That's even weirder to me, do we really need to overwork all these minors, I don't really think so🙃.

Wooow, this got me heated, but the situation is making me quite uncomfortable. Thank you for this video, your unpopular opinions in the intro were all pretty fine with me, but that's just how the internet is, I guess. Anyways I wish you all the best, I'm already looking forward to the next video 🥰.

I keep forgetting Eunchae is only 17. When she handed out the awards to newjeans, it was really awkward considering the controversies. Im glad she did very well and was very professional but its not something a teenager should be put in that kind of situation.

The Asian Grammy Awards is just their way of saying "Asian", but we all know they're only targeting kpop, and don't actually care about the Asian Music Market where there are quite a few popular acts (that I believe are popular. I'm not sure). SB19, ALAMAT & BINI from The Philippines. 4EVE from Thailand. Ninety One from Kazakhstan (They also came on I Can See Your Voice with MAMAMOO)(Me ulting both of them broke me). INI from Japan. I think The Wasabies from Mongolia are popular, IDK and more that exist that are probably popular. The Asian Grammy's is just The "Kpop" Grammy's named as "Asian" so that they can make people believe they care for Asian music, when all its for is Kpop and mostly just BTS/BLACKPINK.

And THANK YOU for saying that about Everglow! Honestly instead of complaining about a “low budget” fans should be praising them for still doing a cool stylized concept with relatively little. Not to mention doing a concept a bit outside of their usual comfort zone

idk who would be mad at the jyp take, two of my ults [itzy and nmixx] are there and they keep bloody schedling their comebacks at the similar times, literally WHY?? its so annoying for the fans and it has to be annoying as hell for the idols lmao, but srsly having to decide if i should help nmixx get their first win or help itzy get a win without lia was the WORST - jyp burn llol

also im laughing so hard that i agree with every single take, youve done it again 🤣🤣unpopular opinions where🤣

The JYP one is even more on point when you consider that the situation reeks of double standards. Both ITZY and Lia, not to mention the fandom as a whole, would only have benefitted from a bigger break in between comebacks - the kind that, say, Stray Kids are currently enjoying (EDIT: not to say that eight months between comebacks is some sort of a massive break, but you hopefully get the point).

I genuinely thought when I saw the thumbnail you meant eunchae should retire from idol life 😭 but I do agree how crappy it is that she’s hosting with a grown ass man

Stray Kids has had multiple music videos per comeback since their debut, and Division 1 never cheapened on the title track MV because of them. The budget for the B-sides was very small when they started out, but there was some actual thought put into them, even for performance videos, where they were all about choosing the right sets (Spread My Wings being filmed on a rooftop, Voices in an abandoned city), or just having a simple but fitting concept (the video for Sorry I Love You is probably the simplest they ever released, but that simplicity allows the viewer to fully focus on the emotions, both on their faces and in the lyrics).
So the B-side MVs for Itzy/NMixx lacking artistic vision is not even a JYPE problem, they're a division problem. Neither division 2 nor Squ4d tried to find directors who could make the low budget work, so it all just looks half-assed. Meanwhile, Stray Kids still work with Novvkim on a regular basis, because he's someone who's expert at bringing an artistic vision even with a limited budget (Red Lights is his most famous MV for them, but he's done a lot more).

1:22 I agree with so much. I wished they had spaced out all of the comebacks JYP groups had in January. It would have let each comeback breath more and I'm sure we would get better planned music videos

the only good thing coming out of the constant jyp promotions is an increased chance for a 20 second reel but that's about it we can try to chill with the back to back comebacks or at least spread them out

I'll be delulu and hope that Mashiro and Yeseo will be able to have sometimes a crossover with Kepler 🥹😔

i’m conflicted with the eunchae thing because she’s an amazing mc. i truly feel like she’s found her calling. but also everything you said is true. she is way too young to be working this much and i wish they didn’t give teens the mc role.
