Just sold my 2020 Grady 370 with Trip Yammy 450’s and now I’m really glad I did. This new engine with all its features looks like a monumental leap forward! Naturally aspirated too!!! Can’t wait to peel the onion back and see numbers like fuel economy, sched maint. and top end on a 13-15 ton vessel. If it’s what they say it is, hats off Mercury! You’ve just earned a new customer.

This outboard is a game changer in so many ways, a balanced V12 engine, a 2 speed gearbox, an outboard where only the bottom turns, not the engine, it will be awesome to see this tech trickle down to the smaller outboards.

Serviced one of the new 350 Mercs the other day and it was honestly the easiest maintenance I've ever had to do on a outboard and put Mercury back in my good books other manufacturers should take note. I won't bother making jokes about mounting this on any of my rather modest boats but I do look forward to the trickle down effect this will have on Mercs "smaller" offerings as well as the shakeup in the OBE industry this launch will cause.

Now, this v12 beast could power 43 open midnight Express and will make it the fastest center console in the world. Well done Mercury. One day if I could afford a 43 midnight Express or nor tech 45 I will certainly have a quint set up. Cheers to every employee ate Mercury racing.
