Question no 21. Option Q. Inactive b-lactam antibiotics by opening the b-lactam ring. This is incorrect.
B-lactamase inhibitors inhibit the b-lactamase enzyme and re-establish the action of the antibiotic. They do not open the ring.
B-lactamase enzyme open the ring of b-lactam.
