I fucking love this scene so much! You can really tell how much Ed Harris contemplates before the missile hits the stadium, I mean he's probably all at once thinking about the 100, 000 people he's going to kill with nerve agent, his deceased wife, all the shit he wen't through in Vietnam, his country. Then he finally changes the coordinates with an angry look on his face.... I mean it's really a fucking great scene.

00:30 - 00:50 I love how they alternate between Alcatraz and San Francisco. It really emphasizes the gravity of the situation as opposed to the casual behavior of the people who have no idea what's about to happen to them.

Funny thing is that the map shows the missile going to the Oakland Coliseum, but the actual scene shows the missile flying over the Candlestick Park. If only the producers had Google Earth back then.

Cage and Connery are fun to watch in this movie, but to me the real cast standouts are Ed Harris' three-dimensional performance as the General, and a post-"Terminator" Michael Biehn as the Navy SEAL Commander.
