State Advocacy Webinar: Convening and Mobalizing a Strong Coalition

As part of our Essential Jobs, Essential Care™ initiative, PHI co-hosted a series of virtual skill-building sessions in March 2022 related to advocacy on the direct care workforce. We produced this series in partnership with Michigan’s IMPART Alliance, the New Mexico Caregivers Coalition, and the North Carolina Coalition on Aging.

In this webinar, led by The Advocacy Institute, participants explored the importance of working across regions and issue areas when engaged in state advocacy. In addition, they learned concrete strategies for building a strong coalition for advancing direct care workforce issues.
