British Heart Foundation - The science of the zebrafish

At the moment, there's no cure for a broken heart. Once your heart muscle is damaged by a heart attack, it can never fully recover. But there is hope.

We're funding Dr Tim Chico and his team at the MRC Centre for Developmental and Biomedical Genetics. Here they explain the science behind our Appeal.

We need to spend £50 million to fund groundbreaking research that could begin to literally 'mend broken hearts' in as little as ten years time.

Your support can give hope to hundreds of thousands of people across the UK.

A great explanation of how zebrafish can progress our knowledge of heart disease and how to treat it.

In the last few weeks they put some of this research in to practice, by putting human hear stemcells in a dish and added a small amount of the treatment they are working on, with astounding results, regenerated the cells, a hugely promising sign to get this out!

Can we just farm these things and can them up like sardines and sell them to the public???... I've had a product in the 90's that had zebra fish gland in it... It works.. it works well and works quick...

Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow, I never thought I'd see the day!! These adverts are absolutely amazing... for more than one reason. Please please please, let me be the star of a similar advert for another line of research that could save lives... this time into genetic control of tumour growth from the research into another fish. I found out about it via an article I read years ago... a fish that has the ability to change shape via the process in biology called apotosis. Please communicate with me

My Zebra was purchased early in the autumn of 2007. Normally they'd last me 3 years and no more.
But this one...

@JasonvonB STOP WITH THE REPETITION. IT DOES NOT ENCOURAGE MY GENEROSITY.

So Ojamalio, are you the one who created this video? or are you anything to do with the research into this science?
I am merely expressing my amazement. You are being a bit cheeky. Do I need such comments as "Stop with the repetition" Of what benefit would your generosity be to me anyhow? - or are you quoting something to obscure to be humorous?
