Hi Allie. I have an episode suggestion for your. Budgeting. I think a lot of women are the budgeters in the family and it would be nice to see an episode discussing debt, saving etc from a biblical view.

I’m not sure I entirely agree about DACA. Lots of kids were brought here as young children. The US is the only home many of them have ever known. I think it’s cruel to deport automatically those in that situation. I think the system should prioritize helping those youth with their path to citizenship. A child can’t help that their parent broke the law.

So here is my take on birth control as a 30 year old mom who has four kids five and under: during my last c section with my now 9 month old son, I got a tubal ligation done. It was something that my husband and I prayerfully considered and felt was the right choice for our family. I’ve been pregnant and breastfeeding non stop for 6 years now and my OB told me that he is concerned about potentially doing a fifth c section on me, especially because we have babies so close together. This was an emotional decision for me because I love being pregnant, I love babies, I love my children. But we’re okay with being done and I don’t think that we have sinned in our decision. So this issue is not black and white. I think choosing to limit the number of children you have is a matter of conscience in the liberty of the believer and it depends person to person.

Marry a WISE man. My father paid for my mother to go to law school in case he died she would be able to financially support herself and their 3 kids. When he died she was able to take care of herself and her kids.

My biggest issue with deliverance ministries is that they claim Christians who are born again can have demons inside them.

Ok-very interesting voting opinions 🤔. I am in favor limiting to taxpayers since it’s our money that is paying for all of these programs and who gets to pocket those dollars. It’ll incentivize everyone to contribute, be a part of this country and it’s moving parts. But I 1000% disagree with limiting to property owners. They are also affected by decisions on healthcare, job security due to immigration and border controls, ideology, Supreme Court justice picks, and much more.

Your husband should value your wishes. Blind obedience is not biblical submission to your spouse.

Allie, I am utterly disappointed in your comments regarding DACA. It is evident from your comments that you know very little about the issue or have a very narrow-minded perspective on it. I am a DACA recipient, and here's my story. My mother came to the United States after my father abandoned her, my brother, and me. The home in which she was staying was abusive and toxic, so she fled with my brother, who was two years old at the time, and I was six months old. She came to the United States hoping to provide for and protect her children. Once here, she worked long days and nights without ever having to apply for food stamps or government assistance. She always told me, "I came here seeking an opportunity, not to become someone else's charity case." Growing up, I did not go to dentist appointments, doctor visits, or annual exams. We did not have health insurance, nor could we afford it.

Despite all these hardships, my mother's top priority was ensuring my brother and I did well in school, had enough food and a roof over our heads. I'm 24 years old now, and have known no other home other than my hometown in Kansas City. I went to college, graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, and am going back to school for my Master's in the spring. My brother decided not to go to College but instead, went to Barber school, got his license, and is self-employed. I'm aware not every DACA recipient's situation is the same as mine. However, that is exactly my point. The particular example you shared does not speak to situations like mine. I also believe you showed no empathy for people like me. I had no say in the matter. I was simply brought here, but I am so grateful that I was.

Allie, I'm not saying not to talk about this issue. There are a lot of problems currently with it. However, it's not as black and white as you paint it to be. And it's completely misleading of you to discuss a topic with very little knowledge to your large audience.

Tell me, honestly, that you would not leave a corrupt country, an abusive household, travel across dry land and across rivers if that meant you had a chance to provide a better life for your children? If, after reading this, your opinion has not changed, then tell me honestly, where would you like me to go? Where should I call home?

Hey Allie, I’m a 59 year old preachers wife who didn’t own a house/property until 6 years ago. Surely you don’t think people like me who didn’t have the money to buy a house shouldn’t be able to vote?!! You said “property owners.” That should not be the qualification for voting.

It would be very unfair to allow those who only own property to vote. I do agree you need to be a citizen to vote and I think showing ID to vote is absolutely valid. Politics matter because policies matter because people matter

Simple answer:
"Wives, submit to your husbands as to The Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, as Christ is head of the church...."
Ephesians 5:22-23.

Allie says with a straight face that maybe only property owners should be able to vote! What a shameful idea to disenfranchise people who can't afford to own property or have no desire. Those people work and pay taxes too. If they couldn't vote, then why pay taxes? In cities like New York or Chicago, renting is the norm. Imagine telling an entire city of renters they can't vote.

Lastly, the fact that fundamentalist Christians seriously discuss taking away the right of women to vote, illustrates just one reason Christianity is losing members at a faster and faster pace. You sound wacky.

This was a good episode! I appreciate her continuing to speak out against IVF! How we treat the least of these matters to the Lord. I have yet to see someone defend IVF from the perspective of the children who are sentenced to a process in which they have a very little chance of surviving.

You know you can own property in USA without being a citizen - hardly a qualification to vote.
Also, the US supreme court has already ruled that denying the right to vote based on property ownership was a violation of the 14th Amendments equal protect clause. Asked and answered - you are wrong.

I wanted a baby and had failed IVF. It ended up being a relief. God provided a baby to adopt. As a Christian, I MUST wait on God and His perfect plan. We can't let our desires overpower God's will. He will make it right. He has the best way.🙏

There are some issues that should be discussed before getting married. Whether you are a stay at home mom or you are in the workforce is one of them.
