It's finally here! Geckolib got a huge update in 1.19.3. At the time of modding, I could only guess at the functionality of the update (when I modded, their wiki hadn't been updated to the full new version).

Hey thanks for your great videos. Do you think you could make a video about the "ForgeRegistryEntry" class, i.e. how to use it:
"public abstract class MyClass extends ForgeRegistryEntry<MyClass >"

So that the content of your own mod can be expanded with other mods. Would be a big help ^^

Perhaps you could do brief introduction to how apply shaders to your items/models? Particularly I want to make similar thing to Draconic Evolution weapons but shaders entry floor is so atrociously high you wont even get any feedback until everything is correct and whats left is playing with values lol

How do you actually know what the fixes are and what has changed modding wise? Is there some kind of modder changelog or do you basically have to guess?
It would be nice if you could do a generic update tutorial and go into detail on what has changed, what needs to be changed in the mod and how you would go in doing so.

Is there any way to make the world generation ro go to for example y=-128

if it's not possible then just increase the normal land y lvl for example to y=150

I have a mod in 1.16.4 mcp mappings (that I update to this day), there were so many changes between 1.16.4 mcp and 1.19.3 that it's better to update in steps, so update to 1.16.5, then 1.18.2 (I stopped here because I use only vanilla entity renderers, and I don't know how to make use of them in 1.18), then 1.19.3.

How can you register a custom trunk placer type? I have a custom trunk placer that worked in 1.19.2 but broke in 1.19.3. I was using the Giant Trunk Placer Type as a placeholder, which seems to no longer work in 1.19.3. I managed to register a Trunk Placer Type by copying the mojang code but it says that it's an unknown registry key
