I'm a retired army veteran who pitches (Ronin). I am a legit low '80s high '70s no hanger knuckleball pitcher. However This has helped my other pitches that I've developed. With the sweeper which I believe to be elite from anything I've seen I have a grip that I believe could help most Hurlers throw this pitch smoothly and as filthy as anything on video and still have a very good command feel for the strike zone.
The grip: RHP; Bull should be held in the hand like a four seamer with the horseshoe arm side on a RHP. Index finger should be on the inside lace of the horseshoe. Middle finger can be split a little or super finger the index finger depending on how tight the ball is held because of hand size. The baseball pitcher should start out throwing this ball Just like a four seamer until their hips are forward on the drift and then as the ball rips down karate chop it on the angle that you desire. *The ball then will pronate into a two-seamer and frisbee. The pitchers aiming focus should always be the strike zone or where they want to hit around the strike zone. In other words, (where they want the ball to end up). Note: when the hurler starts the four seamer they are not aiming that. They should be aiming The two seam transition. The four seamer grip is important for power and control of the transition rip.( An added benefit of this is it hides the pitch very well and enhances other pictures that move when tunneling.) That's a lot written down but it's actually much simpler in application. I hope it makes sense or helps someone.

I like to feel a lotta pressure on the index finger 2 seam grip, lets me really spin it well and keep the axis right without messing with my wrist or slot too much
