User report Hellobox 8 receiver with DVB: S2, S2X, T2 and C

I bought, for 46 Euro, the Hellobox 8 from AlieXpress (november 2021). I want to try it with DvbFinder and DvbPlayer. The delivery from a warehouse in Spain was fast and the box was well packed.
It is a Digital Video Broadcast receiver for Satellte (S2, S2X), Terrestrial (T2) and Cable (C). The manual is only available in the web-store, at AlieXpress, as pictures, but it is not the clearest.
The box can be connected to the TV via HDMI or CVBS. It has no seperate audio interface for radio channels. It has a build-in list of 101 satellites. You can add, edit, delete satellites and transponders.
It can be connected to the internet by Wifi, LAN and a 3G/4G dongle.
The Wifi password can not handle the following characters: + ^ ] [ ) ( &ls; &gr;
It has some apps for YouTube, MyTube, M3UPlayer, Xtream, Live (internet TV) and YouPorn. These are a bit of a disappointment. The apps are not described in the manual. The Youtube search results differ from those you get in an internet browser. YouPorn does not work at all.
There is a Windows (7+) app, HelloMenu_GUI, but it was instantly deleted by my virus-scanner.

For me the receiver is performing very well, even compared to my VU+ Solo 4K. For its price it is suprisingly good value.
A test of the receiver in combination with Android apps DvbFinder and DvbPlayer will follow later. I do not have an Iphone so I cannot test that.

WOW, this small box is really an all in one receiver. Every DVB interface is present. This receiver is not slow.
Only when you browse ALL channels (from 4 satellites + cable) by A-Z character you notice a small delay.

DvbFinder: Note that the current version, 3.4, on Google Play partly works with newer Android phones. The compass will NOT move. If your phone does have a compass build into the phone then the reason for the compass not moving is that DvbFinder uses a depricated sensor interface (TYPE_ORIENTATION) that is often not present anymore on Android 8+ phones. These newer phones use other interfaces to create a compass.
