Sukhoi Su-57 (proposed NATO code name: "Firefox", internal designation: T-50) - the first fifth generation fighter manufactured in Russia and the first Russian fighter with stealth technology. Su-57 was created as part of the PAK-FA (Prospective Airborne Complex of Frontline Aviation) program, as an answer to the Raptor F-22A. While creating the Su-57, the experience with MiG-1.44 "Flatpack" and Su-47 Berkut ("Firkin") fighters was used. Produced in Komsomolsk-on-Amur (Su-30MKK and Su-35S are produced in the same factory, and Su-27 and Su-33 were once made there), Su-57 is equipped with a new version of avionics and devices known from Su-35S ("Flanker-E"). Also Saturn AL-41 engines are a development of AL-31 units known from the "Flanker" family. Su-57 can be both an air superiority fighter and perform assault operations. In the Ace Combat series, Su-57 made his debut in Assault Horizon (as PAK-FA), where he was the main fighter of the game's antagonist, Andrei "Akula" Markov. Su-57 also appeared in Assault Horizon Legacy as a fighter of the commanding Squadron "Albireo" Edgar Grint. In Ace Combat Infinity the fighter was named T-50 PAK-FA. It was not until AC7 that it received the current name. Su-57 was used only once during tests in Syria. Due to problems in the implementation of Su-57 for mass production (and there were a lot of problems), only 12 pre-serial copies will be made. All will go to the Russian Air Force. The fully serial version is to receive AL-41F3/FU engines with a thrust of up to 180 kN. A version starting from the aircraft carrier is also planned.

So if someone is looking for a modern fighter capable of destroying targets in the air and on the ground (and the F-22A is too mainstream), then the Su-57 - the future main fighter of the Air Force of the Union of Yuktobanian Republics - is the perfect choice.

Glad to see they removed the external missiles from assault horizon and decided to keep them in the internal weapon bays. Now it looks completely stealthy as it should; now only if they would do the same for the F-35...
