When I was 8, I played Ace Combat 4, I've been an aviation addict since. I'm 20 now, started my first job as a pilot (Flight Instructor) a few months ago. I'm so stoked to play this. Feeling so nostalgic right about now.

Ace Combat is back to its gloriously corny roots, and I couldn't be happier!

Fun fact: This game went through development hell for years, and was on the verge of cancellation.


The producer virtually begged Bandai to let them finish because they cared so much. If they can pull something like this off with all those problems, I can't imagine how great the next one will be.

You could give ppl photo realistic video in 8K running at 200 frames a second and they would still complain the the graphics are poor.
Old school gamers know gameplay comes first. if it looks good, that’s a bonus.

Then it switches to gameplay footage, and the camera pans to the side of the plane to show that the pilot with the Three Strikes is *_you._*

I still get chills coming back to this. They know how to capture an emotionally thrilling atmosphere. The dialogue, the music, the intensity.
