My parents lived only a few short blocks from the pier. They had a widows walk on top of their house where we could stare out over Lake Michigan and the lighthouse. ❤

That's near me and the lighthouses here are BRUTALIZED every winter and in the fall w huge storms and somehow they last but when your on the pier and a big wave hits in the summer you can feel it all the way down the long length of the pier and there very long waves are CRAZY powerful
