How to reset the Land Rover Freelander 2 service inspection indicator light with push button start

This is how to reset the service message on the dash of a Freelander 2 with the push button start, remember not to press any pedals while performing the reset or the engine will start and that's not part of the reset procedure.

Iv got a 02 freelander SE 2.5 v6 gas and i need to find a new gas cap with a key for mine and i did a tune up plugs and 3wires and it still has a miss and this is my first land Rover so im learning as i go but the gas cap is broken just to let ya know thanks Fred.
