Guys, take off your rings/wedding bands before doing any exercises with kettlebells, especially the ballistics!

I have found that not hinging AT ALL until my arms make contact has helped my swing the most. Starting the hinge before contact makes it a more back movement.

Hi Kelly. This method of kettlebell swings is as I was taught 20 years ago. Fantastic form. It is great to see the proper method, demonstrated. So many YOUTUBE vids demonstrating the common kettlebell swing is incorrect.

Good technique and teaching points!
Another common fault is using a KB that is _too light_ - the hips are powerful thrusters and it's not about _lifting_ the KB, but swinging it.

Kettle bell swings are a great workout. I've been doing them for a little over a year now. Form is really key here. Once you get the form down you will feel the difference within a few sessions.

Another 2 mistakes that make me wanna pull my hair out is when people make it too squatty or when they treat it as an arm/shoulder move. And their trainer is right in front of them while they’re doing it!!! Sad.
