I got a fairly new roomba that I think got compromised due to running over a toothpick/chopstick and after troubleshooting everything decided to get a new cleaning head as a last resort. Really helpful but — if that is my problem (and the way you’ve described yours is spot-on), I’m annoyed because this is a relatively new Roomba. It’s one of three, so it doesn’t get treated particularly harshly. Very vexing! Thank you!

The item can be fixed, just cleaning all the cleaning head. But if the problem persist then change the cleaning head.

Fixed the error on my i7

Is the motor working too hard to turn the fan blade?

I opened up everything to get to the dowel of the fan blade.

I tried turning it by hand a bit firm when I did.

The dowel which has approximately 3 washers (two are together) on it.

After removing all of them, I put 1 drop of oil and graphite powdere onthe dowl where each one of the washers isand where they touch each other or the housing. (especailly important is where the dowel attaches to the plastic housing)

After this I put it all back together and turned it again by hand which moved more freely than before.

It has been working GREAT ever since.

I'm thinking of replacing the whole thing like you did in this video.. the little latch thing that holds the rollers in has broke, although it still is held together by some rubber, I know it's going to fall off soon. The little latch thing is 45 bucks at the cheapest and this is around 60 bucks so it's kind of a no brainer if it replaces other parts too.

I fixed my error 26 by taking a shopvac to the filter, which cleans any clog/dust between the slits of the filter. Good luck

Is it possible to do maintenance on the cleaning head module and get it running without replacement? Maybe taking it apart and cleaning it or something?

Incidentally the robot will not fall off the table it comes to the edge and balances. The one issue is long women hare it damages the roller brush. In my house I have tree women member and lots of long hare the hare gets entangled and damages the grish. This is so bethibg one has to be aware of
