Cervical Neck Traction Benefits

preview_player
Показать описание

There are some precautions and contraindications to cervical traction, so make sure you check with your doctor or physical therapist before trying it.

Basically, cervical traction gently stretches your neck to help relieve pain in the disc and joints in your cervical spine (neck). It can help relieve muscle spasms, increase blood flow to injured areas, relieve pain, and help reduce numbness and tingling in the arms.

Today I am using the Restcloud Neck Stretcher, which helps stretch and relieve pressure through gravity. It’s also very portable, so it’s great for taking it with you when you need it.

Great thorough video! Have you heard of anyone feeling some numbness and tingling in the legs? I only tried it for one day at 5 mins and experienced some of that but I will try again because my friends didn't experience this when they tried it. The stretch itself felt great 😊

I bought that last one you had reviewed, about a year ago. So glad you posted this, since mine is just barely starting to deteriorate; wasn't sure which to go with, since there's so many. Thanks for the update! 😎👍

So, I just had distal clavicle resection surgery 7 weeks ago. I have been complaining about distal bicep pain for 2 years. Finally my surgeon sent me for an Mri of my neck and the distal bicep because she isn’t positive where my pain is coming from. She was concerned that during the mri my shoulder might hurt being in a weird position for a distal bicep mri. My shoulder felt fine. When I got out of the machine I was almost crying because my distal bicep hurt so bad. I’m ready for some answers. I feel like I’m digressing because of the distal bicep pain. I was out of my recliner for several weeks since my shoulder surgery but my arm hurts too much in bed so, I’m back in my recliner

Does this help open the vagus nerve? I have a rest cloud and love it for pain and posture but I was curious whether or not it stimulates the vagus nerve at all?

Is this something you could also do with a foam roller? They seem about the same thickness (at least the one I own). It's also great to see you mention the restcloud though, I've had it suggested to me on Amazon and wondered whether it was gimmicky or worthwhile.

I have a question! Can this device be harmful to someone who uses it wrong or just lays on it without a prominent issue? I’m thinking of getting this as a White Elephant gift and wondering if that’s a good idea. Thanks!
