If you have Microcenter in your area, the 5600x3d bundle is insane value. $300 for cpu, ram & mobo.

I literally upgraded to this build a few weeks ago, and your channel was both instructional and inspirational! I’ve the Red Devil version GPU and couldn’t be happier with how well everything runs!

Appreciate you and the passion in these videos. Two years ago you helped guide me through my first PC build

This is literally the exact build I was looking at with almost no knowledge, so thank for making an informed video about what I would want.

I just built my PC today and this price point is about spot on. I bought all of my parts for around $950 USD.
MSI B550 gaming plus Gen 4
Ryzen 5600x
Thermalright Assassin 120X cooler
MSI RX6750XT
TForce DDR4 16x2(32gb) RGB 3200mhz
Crucial P3 1TB m.2
Thermaltake 750w fully modular PSU
Anatec AX61 Elite case.

It’s on par visually with my Series x at 1440p but I’m getting more frames. Typically in the 140 range on WZ 2.0

If you live near a microcenter in the states currently you can get an AMD Ryzen 7700X, MSI B650-P Wifi motherboard, and 32 gigs of Gskill Flare 6000Mhz ram currently for $399 all bundled. I just did this and picked up an open box 6750XT Red Devil edition video card for 350. Got my O11 Air Mini and a 750 Watt PSU and I'm off to the races for right over $1000. Gets you on the new AM5 platform too for better "future proofing", as much as you can in the PC world anyway. Great Vid and loved the livestream yesterday.

Edit to add-You will also get a copy of standard Starfield when you get this combo. I also got a Premium edition for buying the 6750XT. So thats a $100 game I wont have to buy and I have a copy for my daughter.

That case is extremely similar to the one I just picked up. The Bitfenix nova mesh se, compact but great airflow, 4 fans with addressable rgb and a fan controller. Great value at $60

Pretty good parts selection but definitely agree with getting a cheaper good quality motherboard and upgrading the CPU to a 5700X. You can get quality boards like an MSI B550 MPG Gaming Plus or the ASRock B550 Pro4 for $40 less and then spend $50 more to get the 5700X. There are already games out where the 8-core processors perform better and it makes the difference in not bottlenecking and as CPU requirements go up over time that will only become a bigger problem for 6-cores. Not just that but if you multitask or have other things running in the background and are playing a CPU demanding game 16 threads will be a smoother experience than 12. The 5700X is also more efficient than the 5600X for what that's worth.

Back in the day, to build my rigs, I used to buy parts from Fry's Electronics. I miss them terribly!

Man, that is a good $1000 pc. I like that he uses good components instead of the cheapest junk to put in a pc. That build will work correct and last a long time.

Yo I went with roughly this build only though i switched out the 5600x for a 7 5700x and for the case I went with the Zalman S2 TG so i could actually use all of the usb ports and I also chose a different ram (Corsair Vengeance DDR4 2x16 gb) The last thing i changed was instead of 1 TB i chose 2 TB. Great video man!

New to the channel but I appreciate the work you put in. As someone who has been looking to build a pc for a while I usually get overwhelmed by all the different parts out there which has always put me off. Your Videos have helped. It would be awesome if you did a video/stream when Black Friday is on as I'm looking to build the PC for my sons Xmas present but looking to get the best bang for the buck PC without going too mental as he is only 6 years old.

So, I made my own build and then watched this video. I like how it has a $200 CHEAPER price point than mine. However, I prefer the likes of EVGA, Intel, and Corsair. I would be happy to share this build soon. For reference, check out the recommended game requirements of Starfield. That is what I based my specs on, and it turns out this exact build (in this video) WILL meet those requirements. Excellent video.

So I like the fact that I had a system that I am planning to build and its very close to what you are building. I decided to change the case, motherboard and power supply based on your video so that way I could use your video as a reference to help guide me during the build and plus this build is fairly recent in August and I plan on building my PC in 2024 during tax season. So thank you for making this and explaining everything and I will let ya know how it goes once i get around to building it. Hopefully those parts will still be in stock when I am ready to build :D

6700xt is the go-to card right now for 1080p high fps or 1440p. Just picked up a used reference model for $200.
