I'm a deep music lovers, musician and I had my recording studio for a while, but even with a great income, I will never have the money to buy a $14 000 amp like that. Keep on the great job anyway! :)

Great explanations, I currently have a 30w Traynor YGL 2 all tube Class A Amplifier it sounds incredible with my reconed 12” JBL K120 Alnico but I will say that the highs can be harsh at times and the advantage of this amplifier is you don’t need to constantly rebias it.

That was a brilliant presentation. We got the facts without the hi-fi voodoo. It kept to the subject. Thank you.

Push-pull design can cancel the power supply artifacts. What about crossover distortion in push-pull design? What I gathered from here is push pull design can take care of clipping. However, it seems that the single ended amplifier harmonics is superior due to linear basis. Push-pull amplifier harmonics is not lienor due to crossover distortion. Hence, if you can manage your power supply properly single ended amplifier would sound better without clipping? Please clarify this.

The volume is low as a turtle, I really don’t agree that push pull sound better and more natural than single ended, not in this world.

There is actually a few things this guy says that is NOT correct, or at least only half the truth. Push-Pull amps do indeed cancel out even order harmonics, which to many is a big disadvantage compared to a Single Ended configuration.
The statement that PP amps produce twice the power compared to a Single ended config using same tubes, is only true in a specific case, namely when the tubes in the PP amp are run in Class A.
A HiFi Single ended amp run in Class A by default.
Even if Class A operation occurs in some PP amps, it is far more common when designing a PP amp that as high output power as possible is the objective, and then the amp is designed for Class AB operation, allowing for MUCH higher power than twice the power of the corressponding Single Ended, single Tube amp. The power ratio in a Class AB PP amp is commonly rather 3-4 times as high . as in a Single Ended Single Tube amp. You can get high power output from a Single Ended Single tube amp as well, by going for larger, higher voltages tubes, and the price you pay is exactly that, high price and big, heavy amp, while potentially delivering an oh so sweet and musical, yet detailed and powerful tone.

For God's sake, please look at your output sound level when generating this video and amplify it as needed. Watching a Youtube video on this subject from some other channel just fine and then listening to this one and having to jack the volume all the way up and still be able to barely hear the speaker is both frustrating and just really stupid for a video from a company literally about sound. Remember the mantra "If you have crap audio, you have a crap video."

so sorry I can't listen to the video. Extremely low volume, and my hearing situation does not help
