I like how they chose the drowning ost for the faster part to give off the sound of distress just like when tails was chased by sonic.exe

They NAILED the atmosphere and theme with this song. It sounds genuinely unsettling, all while being a fucking sick song. It really takes me back to when I was at my peak of my creepy pasta phase; my favorites were always the video games gone wrong.

Everything is done well here. The visuals, sonic's voice, and the background. At the beginning of the song, it feels reminiscent of the beginning of the story it's self. Slow, off-settling, and melancholic. Like you just *know* something's off. It's just common sense to, but I really do like they added the iconic stuff sonic actually says (I am god, the laugh, etc).

With the resurgence of creepy pasta mods, it really just shows things that were once "cringe" can still hold it's ground today. FNF as a medium to bring back things of old is something I'm very much for, as making sprites and music dedicated to something we all used to know is something oddly beautiful. As if we're looking back in history, picking up something we used to enjoy and do so once again.

Funny little headcanon I came up with that's been around in my head for a while.

Daddy Dearest, similarly with the Hating Simulator, shoves BF and GF inside of a disc copy of Sonic that he got from one of his friends that came with a note telling him to destroy the disc since he couldn't bring himself to. Dearest believed him, he just didn't give a crap and locked it up in his attic. And now the disc kinda became a sort of "last resort" kinda deal to get rid of BF. So he blows the dust off the disc and does the funny.

This mod brought back memories of my 8 or 7 year old self discovering sonic.exe for the first time and the pure fear that was struck into me. I could never go to sleep because I would fear getting chased by him or just waking up to see that "I am God" face right in front

Knowing that the mod is dead, hearing this one last time made me actually cry. Bravo to the team for putting together this masterpiece and going through the struggles that they dealed with. I'll miss the mod definitely, this was one of the best mods I've seen. Thank you MarStarBro.

The slow opener is so melancholy. It just makes you think about someone on the brink of insanity, which is definitely what Sonic.exe is going through. It makes you feel tense, and a little scared of what’s going to happen next…

That said this mod has lag related issues on slower computers. If your computer is too weak then it is imperative that you DO NOT MISS THE RED AND YELLOW NOTES. They will give you a lag spike and make you miss the next several notes, often to game ending effect.
