What you're forgetting about hover is they have phone support that gets you to a human that's not in India with only a single robot to direct you to the right department. They have no automated support. They also have free forever whois protection and you can change your DNS servers unlike cloudflare if that counts.

Several years ago google domains seemed really really attractive, especially on a low-budget, almost too good to be true! Well, thankfully I didn't jump ship and stuck with my provider!

Just got the email saying I'm going to be a Squarespace customer within a month. Oh? Is that so? I'm being forced to be a Squarespace customer? Nah. I'm am currently moving EVERYTHING from Google and will immediately be closing any accounts Squarespace creates under my identity without my consent.

Not only does SS not answer support requests, the BBB said they can't help with a foreign company (outside US). I am scrambling now and may be filing an Attorney General complaint. They will either expire your domains or extort payment if you want to keep it, since you can't manage them and there's no support.

Thanks for this list! GoDaddy's domain buyers club price jumped by $100. Found out about google domains and then, bam, it's now squarespace. I'm leaving to one of your recommendations. Likely Porkbun! Thanks again.

Great stuff, I’ve recently purchased a Google domain and got the Google workspace standard business. It won’t let me add any users. ( No license available for new user) when I click add user it Says I’ve reached the maximum amount of users but seen everyone else can create/assign new emails off the same domain. Any help or guidance is greatly appreciated.

You keep saying changing your name servers when connecting to a website... Since when was that a thing? Set your Cname and A records with your domains nameservers
