Next to enter The Den is Roger Willems and Phil Stratford, who claimed they had together built a multimillion-pound transatlantic business. The duo seeks £80,000 in exchange for a 15% equity stake, but with the two businessmen netting more money than Peter Jones annually, the roles are reversed.

An international sensation, Dragon's Den features entrepreneurs pitching for investment in the Den from our Dragons, five venture capitalists willing to invest their own money in exchange for equity.

Debra: “Why are you here?"

What they’re thinking: “just to get the product on TV to be honest”

How do multimillionaires not realize that a prop door that's not attached to walls is not the same as kicking in an actual door in a building

They should have mentioned that the door they tested wasnt built into any walls like all normal doors are, thats the reason this one failed🤔

One of the best segments but notice how differently the dragons treated them once they knew they were equals and millionaires. And how often do the dragons stay in youth hostels?

I thought the dragons would be smart enough to know the difference between an actual door and a prop door.

It's funny how their demeanor changes when they realize they're dealing with people on their level financially. It's like you see an instant rapport in the room for a moment and they start treating each other like peers.

These guys are incredibly humble for multimillionaires.

These two are already millionaires, but they're willing to admit their weaknesses. These are the types of businessmen that we need to hang around with. They're humble, intelligent, and unpretentious.

They literally don't need the money. Just there to flex

These guys are self-confident and shrewd. I love that they saw the humor in it all. That's the sign of a successful person.

I liked their gentle sort of Bert and Ernie back-scratching and tie-fixing in the lift. Two guys who are completely at ease with themselves and each other. Sweet.

I've actually used one of these and they are really good. I think the reason it failed in the pitch is because the door is on a free standing frame. When Nick kicked it the entire door frame twisted, which wouldn't happen with a real door. Also the door itself had no lock, so only point of restraint was the doorjammer.
