Thank you to those who helped me make this video possible and to those of you who took the time to watch. I appreciate all of you.

I filmed this video back in April of 2023 and included the portions of Lionel Messi joining Inter Miami as it happened. It didn't feel right to release it without making these edits.

Where else to find me:

Its great to see football in America growing naturally, instead of pumping it full of money like Saudi Arabia or China. Sets it up for long term success and continue churning out great talent

The World Cup was (and ALWAYS was) bigger than the Super Bowl on a global basis.

I've never watches mls in my life and I'm an American. Messi is the sole reason I'll start watching some MLS games

Honestly (as an Englishman) its been nice to see how the game has grown in the US, you guys arent quite among the elite but youre getting closer all the time, one good thing for me is with MLS it runs through the summer while the Premier League is in the offseason, ive been watching it on apple tv anyway and the standard of the game is so much better than it was when Beckham joined, you guys are so much further along than you were in the 90's, i maybe a bit biased (ive got some American/Mexican friends who got me onto MLS a while back, also the USNMT has kind of become my 2nd team, i do root for you guys, well unless you play England 😂) but i hope you guys keep going, also i hope you have a successful summer with the Nations League and the Gold Cup

The Super Bowl has NEVER been bigger than the World Cup, and never will be.

It's 1 countries viewership vs the worlds viewership.

I've been saying it for years. America is a low key Soccer nation. Ya'll just don't want to admit it because of ego. Well done America!

Here in San Diego word is spreading quickly about our new MLS team. Beyond excited, and eventually they'll get their own stadium. Cant wait to root for San Diego, 'Fighter Town', California!

I hope the MLS keeps growing. It’s amazing to see soccer (football) becoming more popular in the USA. They are still behind the other 4 major American sports leagues, but the gap is getting smaller.

Football is growing fast in America. Being Latino and from nyc growing up I played and watched soccer but now this is a common thing all over the country. We also have a great 2nd division league the USL CHAMPIONSHIP.

I am so happy the MLS is finally growing. As a Sounders fan the games are so fun. Football brings in a Worldwide audience that anyone can talk about. Also, football is a lot safer to play than American football and hockey. The fans are passionate and are very unique to football. NFL, NHL, MLB, and NBA fans are nothing like MLS fans. We have tifos, flares, marches, and our colors mean everything. Now, the MLS needs a relegation system instead of just adding teams. There are many teams out there that want to be in the MLS and they are just waiting. Easy, make a second league like the Championship and the last place teams in each conference get relegated. This would make it much worse for teams who are at the bottom putting pressure on them. And the top four teams from the 'second' MLS get promoted. You could even have a playoff like the Championship does and anyone who watched that this year knows that was insane. Luton Town somehow is in the Premier League next season. Come on you Sounders!

Literal millions of viewers are tuning in JUST because of Messi. Me included. I follow European football, Prem, UCL and a little La Liga... But have never watched a MLS game until this summer.

The stadiums and the fans have certainly caught up to the best leagues in the world. Now we just have to keep improving the talent/ level of play.

I believe its going to be big just like when Wayne Gretzky was traded to LA all hockey needed was a big star to make the sport grow and look at hockey today The MLS needs a big star for it to grow and now it does

One big problem with MLS' streaming deal with Apple is that it's basically all-or-nothing. With all due respect to the other 28 teams in the league, I don't care about them - I care about my team. I don't want to watch the matches of other teams, I want to watch my team's matches. While the centralized broadcast and play-by-play is undoubtedly a bonus to the league, the lack of a "home team only" option - preferably at a lower price point to the full Season Pass package - is pushing a lot of viewers away who can't justify spending on yet another streaming service in worsening economic times.
