...but they didn't understand the game was never meant to be funny! It was meant to have a point! It was meant to speak to the human condition! "But where are the jokes? Where are the jokes?" they bemoaned, they screamed. They gnashed their teeth and said "Entertain us!" It wasn't enough. They had to leave a pathetic little thumbs-down review and make all of their pitiful demands.

But then: "He's talking too much, " they said! First he didn't entertain us, now he won't shut up! It's the inconsistency! It's the lack of accountability! It's the unwillingness to examine with an uncompromising heart the words that they are speaking into the world. As though there were no consequences for a lack of cohesion in one's assessment of others!

But of course, absolutely anyone can leave a review, so here's what we get! We get these demands that seek everything and are accountable to nothing. We get a world where someone will say "Ohh, there should be a skip button! You should be able to freeze Stanley in place while the narrator sits there forever and ever! We want all of this in the new Stanley Parable, we demand it!"

And then, because it was said, because it was spoken, now it simply has to happen! The most immediate desires, every single thing demanded by every person at every moment in time - if someone wants it then it's a crime not to bring it into being? Have we been given to indulging every fleeting whim for no reason other than to do so? Yes, yes!

It seems that this is now the world we live in! It seems that we are a people living in such bleakness and discomfort with ourselves that our entertainment is now our lives! It has come to represent us! It absolutely must speak to who we are as people!

Because otherwise, without our entertainment, we have nothing! Without entertainment, we would have to face inward toward the cruel bleakness inside ourselves. We would turn to look at our deeper nature and find a resounding emptiness gazing back with unyielding aggression.

And so - so because of this - we require that our amusements, and our play things, and our flights of fancy be so impossibly captivating, that they consume all of our attention, turn our heads completely away from the bleakness! In effect, we have demanded that our entertainment be the collapse of ourselves.

What a pitiful reflection of humanity these entertainments are! What a shameful mirror to the human spirit they project! I'm not mad. I'm not mad about any of this. I'm at peace with it. I am the calm center of gravity around which these perversions hurl themselves. I am a waypoint for reasonable and collected discourse.

They're the ones who are mad! They're the ones who couldn't stand the idea of me using my game to try to say something! Maybe they were just jealous of me? Yes... yes, of course. They've been jealous of me this whole time! They are mired in fear and insecurity, and cannot help but attempt to tear me down.

What a sad state of affairs. When you read these reviews now, you can see it. You can taste the bitter resentment. And my, how good does it feel now to speak truth to these words! To finally allow these thoughts out! Contained and managed for so long, neutered and sterilized! At last I am free to truly think, to feel!

It must be that they were so discontent with themselves that they couldn't help but leave a negative review on Steam Perhaps it says far more about them than it ever said about me. Perhaps the state of their psychological being was in such tatters, and my constitution and willpower are so ironclad in comparison, perhaps it was in this state that they sought some outlet through which to tear me down!

This, you can see, is clearly why they felt the need to expect that the game be funny. That it be filled with yuks and whimsical humor. That it amuse them endlessly from start to finish. But they didn't understand that the game was never meant to be funny!

QUICK FACT: uber fest focuses mostly traited enemies while epic fest focuses on trait-less enemies.

Here are some tips you will DEFINITELY need once you progress further into the game.

Meatshields. Meatshields are the most essential units in Battle Cats. They are cats that you constantly send out or spam to absorb hits from the enemy (their only purpose is basically to die). They should be used to protect your Ubers, which should be in the back. Meatshields are cheap cats such as Macho Cat and Wall Cat. I've noticed that most of your army is composed of rare, super rare, and Uber cats. I would recommend replacing some of them with meatshields. If you're able to, you should DEFINITELY get Boogie Cat (a special cat for 90 cat food, I believe). It's another cheap meatshield and is 100% worth the price (even more so if the units are half price).

Now for the gacha. I know that most comments have said to save your cat food for 100% Uber rare rolls, and they aren’t wrong. These guaranteed rolls usually come around near the end of a banner but are NEVER available for events where the Uber chances are greatly increased (events like Epicfest, Uberfest, Superfest, Best of the Best, etc.). Doing an 11-roll during one of these events, though not guaranteed, is a high-risk, high-reward type of thing. I once rolled 5 Ubers in a single 11-draw on Epicfest. These increased chances work in a really strange way. For example, if there are two banners—one for Epicfest and one for something else—and you roll on the one for something else and get a super rare, there was a chance that if you'd rolled on Epicfest, you would have gotten an Uber rare instead. I would advise spending your cat food only on either guaranteed rolls or banners where Uber drop rates are up. If you get a new unit, ALWAYS USE IT. Even if you get duplicates, use them—don’t exchange them for XP. Although XP is nice, the extra level goes a long way, especially as you progress further into the game, and they stack.

ALSO TIP: when you are spawning ubers or good cats, use meat shields. these “meat shields” are cats that barely cost anything. you would use tank cat and macho cat for meat shields.
These shields take damage for your ubers, basically they protect your ubers so they are alive for longer

About the collabs with miku and all that stuff, don't worry, normally it also comes up in the English version after a while, and battle cats tends to bring old collabs from now and then, maybe miku will take a year or two - but others like metal slug, fate, and others are possible to be close of appearing again - most likely to be either merc storia or metal slug tho, due to them having almost a year from the last rerun. Yeah, and also, from the first chapter to second chapter, enemies become 1.5 times stronger, not bad, right? Well, from chapter 2 to chapter 3 enemies become 4 TIMES STRONGER.

I recommend that you use meatshields in your line up. This means constantly sending out cheap cats like Macho Cat and Wall Cat to stall the enemy while your other units attack from a distance. This will be important in many later stages.

Some cats, like Hip Hop Cat, have Single Attack. This means they can only attack one enemy at a time. Cats with Area Attack can hit multiple enemies. If there is a swarm of enemies try using Area Attack cats to keep them all back.

Battle Cats Tip! : At this point forward the max cap level for your cats is 20. The only way to go passed level 20 for your cats is by ranking up through leveling up cats! Each cat level will add one user rank level which is shown in the top left in the 21:30 mark of the video behind your cam. When you get to a certain rank you can eventually upgrade rares, special, super rares, uber rares, and as well as legend rares to 30. Also you are able to go passed 30 through pulling gacha cats. Each gacha cat used will +1 a cat. For example, if your Kotatsu cat was level 30 and you pulled another Kotatsu cat, you can use it and it will get it to 30 + 1 levels for better stats. Ranks: 900 through to 1410 increase the level caps of Rare, Super Rare, Uber Rare and Legend Rare units to 30.

PRO TIP: Brainwashed UFO Cat does Massive Damage against TRAITLESS enemies, those Colorless grounded enemies die quickly, that's why it was struggling against the Mooth

Tip for chapter 3 moon boss: The Highest Level You Can Make Lizzard/Dragon Cat Gives Him About Over 3K Dammage! Spam Those And Bun-Bun Will Be Destroyed Quickly!

Make sure to get Superior (Gold) Treasure when fighting the moon and only treasure hunt when the treasure festival is on
