my favorite 2k it actually took skill to play instead of using your speed to get around the defender. the movement was just perfection even trying to make a shit was kinda hard but it meant you had to get more open looks this game will always and forever be my favorite 2k even my career was amazing the story and all that it just felt so real I wish servers still worked on this game. even the presentation was better then what we have now. we used to have a pre game, halftime and post game show I miss that fr

I used to clamp the Curry and Bron cheesers with the Grizzlies. Tony Allen had clamps and you had to really know how to play.

Yo. This is crazy. I basically missed the whole entire 2010's of gaming.. and my reintroduction to NBA 2k, was 2k19 (my brother gave it to me as a gift for my PS4 I got in January of 2020). However, I still kept an ear to the NBA 2k universe, although I wasn't playing at the time (was getting my life together lol). So first impression of 2k19 was.. great graphically -- coming from the Xbox 360 PS3 era -- but the gameplay felt a little off (had to research custom sliders, to make the game enjoyable). And I remember consistently reading, how NBA 2k was on a downward trajectory, with every release post launch, of that current generation of consoles (same with Madden). I thought some contributors were hyperbolizing these takes, on more recent NBA 2k's. Man, but everytime I go back, and see more distant past of NBA2k's. I see a significantly better game.

How as the consoles get "better" year to year, with these devs having the best possible tools and resources in the gaming world, to craft a great NBA sports simulation title. Does the game get worse, in every aspect, with each updated iteration of it? I mean, how is the game going backwards -- as far as quality -- as we move forward in gaming, and overall technology? Lol. I'm seeing smoother graphics, more in depth ingame presentation (the script is better in here, than 2k22 lol). And the animations of 2k16, blows 2k22 outta the water, for crying out loud. I mean, are the game devs that 2k are hiring getting worse? Or do the good ones leave, due to not getting properly compensated, relative to the work they put in? This is the first generation of consoles, I've seen this level of regression consistently. Watching this gameplay wants me to literally purchase this game today, and really get a handson feel, on how much better 2k was then, than it is now.

Is there any way to update codex cracked versions of 2k16. I think my 2k16 is an early build. So many bugs. Especially the commentary, it just stops after 1 minute of playing the game. And would sometimes come back for a few minutes at the start of a new quarter. Its so frustrating!

You couldn't make shots for shit on this one but this was the game changer..from 2015 to 2016 is where the graphics and mechanics changed
