I have watched countless videos concerning what you have taught in this video. I never could tell just where they were "injecting" & listening. Your diagram(s) really finally brought it home to me & made sense for a change. Thanks for making this presentation. I came over here because of Joernone's recommendation.

Hey John,
Sounds like the same loudness on this one also. It won't be very loud, it only has three transistors and one is for the oscillator.

I don't know how many transistors in 1960 had high betas, most were germanium and leaked so they produced noise. Today it is a different story.

Hi Rick, you do find some lovely instruments to play with. I’ve not seen one before; would I be right in assuming that it was made for the professional radio repairer rather than the home-handy-man market.

, I have one that i buy on ebay it came with a 9 V battery I don't have the manual can you tell me the correct voltage I see on the video you have only 4.5 V The other problem i have is with the red prove the RF it came damage the diode is gone and also one of the resistors on the prove the value is erase if is any way you can get me this info I will appreciated
