45 -1000MHz working bandwidth
High performance DFB coaxial laser that has a great linking performance and stable output
Advanced CPU processing and with an auto monitoring system to supervise the operational status which leads to a longer life of the laser
Low power loss design(less than 8W) which creates a ver low operational temperature

IMPORTANT NOTE*** (it is very important to interface our unit with SC/APC - Angle Polished Connector to avoid any light reflections.

If your fiber is terminated with the SC, ST, FC /PC flat connector, you need to use an optical jumper from PC type to SC/APC for proper conversion.

So many possibilities with these digital modulators! I just set up a Channel Vision modulator - 3 analog closed circuit TV channels to go with my antenna digital channels. I use my VHS, Betamax and a DTV converter box as a USB media player to feed the 3 channels. Then I combined it with my antenna through a diplexer and feed the TVs in my house. Custom TV channels! Great video Robbie!👍

Thanks a million! I've been trying to find an answer to the question of if something like this actually existed and was effective long distances. Thank you very much. ;3

These Thor product look really nice. Sticker shock on the cost though at least for home use. I can see the cost being more in line with the commercial setup you talk about though.

This is very useful technology, shame the TV content is unwatchable these days..

Does Thor Broadcasting have a Coax to Fiber Transiever like that for DVB Satellite systems like the DISH Hopper system? And if there is, will it affect the MOCA technology?

Thanks.... can I run it from the LNB to the decoder?

My condo wants to add fibre cable for internet and TV. The fibre goes to a router as I understand it. The issue that is not clear is how it goes from the router to a tv which has no wifi capability. The things I have seen is the coaxial cable currently distributing tv signal to various rooms where TVs are is retained as a delivery system which to me defeats any gains at the TV of fibre. Am I missing something

Hi, the signal for my tv/wifi comes from fiber optic cable that goes into the router (unde it to be exact). The router/modem or whatever it is has all the ports. For Coax that goes into the TVs and internet (both ethernet and wireless wifi). The router/modem is WIFI 4 and I want to switch to Wifi 6. How can i do that when there are no more devices that can hold fiber optic in and coax, wifi, ethernet out. Any advide on what to buy and how to setup? The wifi would be for me because i want to move the router in my room, while there is a Coax cable coming from the back of it that goes to TVs for my parents. I would really love some help from anyone that knows.

Here's a related subjects to cover somehow:
what's about those direct IP LNBs for the dish?
Are they any LNB with full spectrum over fiber?
Why not run wave guide instead of wire from a dish?

let's get real geeky :-)

Would that be a great way to electrically decouple your antenna from your receiver to prevent lightning strikes to your antenna damaging your receiver?

I WILL WATCH THIS AGAIN IN CASE I MISSED HERE GOES I RAN A FIBER TO THE HORSE BARN AND TO THE GARAGE NOW I HAVE DATA AT BOTH LOCATIONS. 1. IS THERE A ETHERNET VERSION OF THIS? 2. IF NOT, HOW DO I ADD THIS TO A EXISTING DATA FIBER NETWORK

its great for all receiver end point when dealing multiple room setup and benefit with great speeds but problems with fiber is it can't operate at satellite signal greatly due to missing magnetic fields is needed to oscillate the signals polarities ....like channels...even and odd...without it...sats won't deliver programming through atmosphere and all obstacles to the ground like noise....fiber doesn't like noise its why they will never leave its cable for a very long time due to dependence of transparent cladding material with a lower index of refraction ...without it....its dead ...cable never dies...just cut the end point and you got it working again or get new piece ....but fiber...?? any where is damage ....whole cable is dead..unless you can master on splicing and repair requires more than knowledge and skills do A NIGHTMARE I TELLING YOU WHEN REPAIRING FIBER CABLES
in my opinion COPPER GONNA STAY WITH US FOR VERY LONG TIME AS LONGEST SATS STAY UP THERE IN ORBIT ....CELL TOWERS AND SATELLITE COMPANIES STILL DEPENDING COPPER TO FUNCTION ITS DESIGN WAS WELL MADE FOR ....OSCILLATE FREQUENCY WITHOUT MAKE BIG DEAL WITH CONVERSIONS LIKE CABLE HAVE TO DO FOR GETTING FASTER INTERNET ...MANY CONVERSION BOXES IN THE NODES....

EVEN I REMEMBER EUROPA DID THAT FOR THEIR IT NEVER GOT THROUGH AS THEY HOPE FOR....MANY VARIATIONS ISSUES WITH LNB AND THE RECEIVER CONVERSION....HAVE ANYONE NOTICE THAT BACK THOSE DAYS WITH YOUR CABLE SUBSCRIPTIONS PLUS THE CABLE MODEM....NOTICE WHEN IT LAG ..ITS NOT BAD BUT ITS SEC WHEN WATCHING PROGRAM ..THEN IT JITTERS ONCE OF WHILE FOR EVERY 40 MIN OR LONGER ...PEOPLE WON'T NOTICE WHEN SURFING THE WEB CAUSE PEOPLE ARE USED TO THAT SORT THE THING BACK THEN...JITTER PARTS BUT ON WATCHING TV...ITS VERY NOTICEABLE ....ITS WHEN CONVERSION BACK THEN WHERE BAD OR EARLY DAYS OF HYBRID CABLE WAS STILL STAGE ONE ....NOW DAYS I HOPE ITS IMPROVING GREATLY FOR TV VIEWING ...SINCE I LEFT CABLE COMPANIES AND DECIDING USED SATELLITES MY OWNED INSTEAD ...ITS GOOD EXPERIENCE WHEN I DID THAT
