The ID.3 has become so good! I can't wait till I can buy a reasonably priced ID.3 Pro S from 21-23 (I hope to do it before next summer!) I still have a Polo on LPG but the big battery ID.3 would be great also for long roadtrips I like to do! The GTX seems to be the all best but I sadly don't have the money for that. I would like one though!! It is also much more practical and quieter than the Tesla model 3. Also I like German brands much more (I'm from the Netherlands). Thank you for your dedication @batterylife!

Given the purchase/lease price difference, the only data that matters for this test is the available range. Consumption does not matter as the cost for power means nothing when you factor-in the the extra cost of the ID.7.

Charging curve of the new 79kWh net pack is better! There is a database om the internet for the charging curve. Still nice to have actual practical test data!

Half of the difference explained by tires. I would assume the other half is aerodynamics. ID.7 (0.23 vs 0.26 drag coefficient). 100kg difference is not huge deal at almost constant highway speed.

Not completely in the video topic, but still...does anyone know why, when configuring an ID7 GTX the range falls when downgrading to a 19" tires from 20"? Is it not supposed to increase the range? :)

Excluding 20" rims on ID3, the difference is very small i think!
Did you follow your battery degratation since you own the ID7? And what it capacity when new?
72, 9kwh now seems to be low for less than a year! (do you speak about Maxi battery capacity?)
When you speak about 19" rims on ID3, here inFrance we don't have this choice, is it possible in Deutchland?
