Another interesting update. I did not realise that about the small formation lights on the wingtip. Something else I have just learned. Keep up the good work and fantastic to see the Halifax mock up thanks for posting👍

And not one Hi-Viz jacket or plastic helmet (that apparently will stop you being killed when a Lancaster falls on your head) was hurt in the making of this film ...
Just sensible blokes who know what they are doing and how to do it safely. It was how I was taught my engineering in the '60s in Swindon. When these beauties were first built the blokes wore shirts and ties and the ladies dungarees and a headscarf and they still knocked out thousands in a war zone ... God help the millenial snowflakes ..

their was 7, 500 Lancaster bombers made now their are only 2 flying but think and the brave young men that went into battle in them some of our brave men never came home to their loved one's all I can say they gave their life's so we can live on we will remember them and thankyou to them all god bless you all R.I.P
