The battle menu allowing you to select spells is pretty dope. At first I thought it just looked like they copy pasted Robins moveset, but I'm glad they made the Dragon Quest characters have a unique playstyle. The series deserves it for how awesome it is

This is probably the most "no shit" inclusion they could have added. DQ is so popular in Japan there was no way they wouldn't add a character, hell they added all of them.

I'm really glad that Nintendo favored the nerds out there who love old-school RPGs over some of the popular characters. I am happy that Banjo was added, but I'm way more excited for some Dragon Quest representation. And yeah, it's another sword character, but I would rather see a Dragon Quest sword user than any of the many many Fire Emblem ones.

I think them adding the hero instead of Geno or Sora was a good idea here is why Cloud from Final Fantasy 7 got in Smash 4 he's the square rep and the hero being the Enix rep it makes so much more sense
