Do you know that melon pan does not have any melon flavour at all? It's just the shape looks like rock melon hence the name, similar like pineapple bun that doesn't have any pineapple on it. Melon pan is one of the must eat food here in Japan since it's cheap, delicious and who can't say no to fluffy freshly baked bread right? We went to Asakusa Kagetsudo for melon pan and it was the best 250Yen or $2 street food.
