i wanted to put together a short tribute video of some of my favourite lines/scenes from sylens 💙

I literally cried when I heard. I didn't know him. I have no idea what sort of person he was! But his characters, his voice and just the way he conveyed the character of Sylens made me love him. RIP Lance Reddick and thank you for creating a character that both infuriated, intrigued and touched us deeply.

This is just brilliant. You captured some of his best moments as Sylens so well, Kirsty. What an amazing talent he had. A magnetic screen presence in every single role. It's pretty inconceivable to even imagine Horizon without Sylens. I just hope that whatever plans they had for the character can still happen in some way, such as Aloy finding Sylens' journals after his death. RIP Lance Reddick.

Knew I'd get teary-eyed watching this, but did not expect that to start with the "Happy Birthday Isaac..." line. It hit harder than usual. Tears for a man I'll never know, who brilliantly portrayed a man one could argue is among the most pensive, enigmatic, and cunning characters in the video game medium. Sylens fascinates me, and as a person who also revels in the search for knowledge and understanding, I'm over the moon to see where his story will pick up in Burning Shores, and pained to wonder where it can go afterwards in Horizon 3 without Lance's voice and talent (though potentially his likeness, in some capacity) to bring it to life. So many what-ifs...

Lance Reddick had such a distinctive voice, smooth and raspy! Loved him in the buttler role in John Wick. He will be missed. That is a beautifull and thoughtfull tribute. Thanks a lot Kirsty.

Thank you so much. This was so well done...including the words above. One of the games most interesting characters (chaotic neutral????). A truly unique voice and so well captured graphically. It is nice to know Lance will live on in the first two Horizon games. That he will be missed is a vast understatement. Peace.
