Loved this video. Made me cry, because that was such an innocent time for both Elvis and Nick. I am a fan of Nick's . He was so handsome. So sad he had to die so young, never realizing his dream till now. Thanks Allyson. And Elvis goes without saying Most talented singer ever born in my generation. Both will always be in my heart. 3:01 ... I remember the "Black and White" stores. They were one of the first retailers in the Mid-South that allowed both black and white customers to shop at the same time in the same store. They still had the separate water fountains and restrooms, but it was a start. They made this move long before 1954. When the civil rights struggle began they changed the name of the stores to Shainberg's which was the founder's name.
