I met Allyson in Tupelo last year and she autographed my book "The Rebel and the King" Fantastic lady and we chatted as she had lived in New Zealand for a wee while <3. Love this video. Thank you

Watching Elvis related videos on YT for years and can't believe am just seeing this for the first time. Obviously put together with lots of love and effort. Thanks for this, Mr. Turner.

And thanks for all you've done through the years to promote and inform the historical record about Elvis.

Nick, made it very welcoming for the viewer to easily get into him. Allyson and Roy... Thanks for this insight on Nick. -gilpin 9-3-16

Loved this video. Made me cry, because that was such an innocent time for both Elvis and Nick. I am a fan of Nick's . He was so handsome. So sad he had to die so young, never realizing his dream till now. Thanks Allyson. And Elvis goes without saying Most talented singer ever born in my generation. Both will always be in my heart. Will put this video in my files to have always.

3:01 ... I remember the "Black and White" stores. They were one of the first retailers in the Mid-South that allowed both black and white customers to shop at the same time in the same store. They still had the separate water fountains and restrooms, but it was a start. They made this move long before 1954. When the civil rights struggle began they changed the name of the stores to Shainberg's which was the founder's name.

This is wonderfully constructed and produced. Excellent video. Thanks to Allyson for sharing her father's story. I was in the audience for the opening scenes of this video.
