Do you need a dedicated strip wash soap?

Some people say you need a dedicated pre soak/strip wash foam or soap for best cleaning. Is that true?

You can always add all clean if needed, incredible suds I believe is ph 8.5 so a little alkaline. However its composition is the key. Has industry leading load of surfactants, it has more than enough power

A bigger area than he put the foam on looked "cleaned", and he didn't wet the area he didn't. So it's not the foam that made it look like that, just the water. It would've looked like that with no foam just water.

Strip washes are pointless. Polishing is what actually removes old protection. APC pre treatment/claying can also remove a good bit.

So what are the steps in washing a car? you need to soak it with water, foam, rinse that off then wash it with a car shampoo?

Is diluted incredible suds like this safe for use with spray sealants? I would like to use this as pretreatment when I go to DIY car washes (to avoid their cheap soaps), and do a rinseless wash after, but don’t want the pretreatment to remove sealant. Thanks.

Why can't you use the washer gun on this instead you used the hose?

My buddy mixes a chemical that looks like flat ass Pepsi, and it's called the ANSR, and it works just like this. Not as pretty though 🤣
