Lukembe is absolutely amazing. The Celtics have done such a good job cultivating talent, it seems like every year we take decent picks (DWhite, Porzingis, Jrue) and cultivate them into absolutely massive threats. I'm not saying Porzingis or Jrue weren't recognized as great players but where they were on other teams it's clear they weren't valued at the level they are in Boston, and especially true for DWhite who went from specialist defender to solid scorer and has significantly improved his catch and shoot 3 over the last two years. Mazzulla's willingness to play his entire bench and Boston's insane firepower and IQ allows them to put in bench players and still win by double-digits. Celtics have done an incredible job rebuilding after '08, and aside from a few bad trades (#11, and sadly Hayward) they seem to get amazing value out of their trades and then make the pieces they have look so good they can trade them at a premium. It's not just the players, the organization as a whole is overpowering the league with smart decision making and working as a unit rather than relying on star power.

Let's keep in mind that Isaiah Thomas and Marcus Smart walked so that these players could run. We better hear "THANK YOU MARCUS" on Saturday because it breaks my fucking heart that guy didn't make it with the rest of them.

The greatest part for me about All of this and ever since the 2022 playoffs I’ve been calling this shyt when I seen Pritchard come in those bucks and heat games and hit those big 3’s I knew all he needed was a little more time in the spotlight with more minutes on the floor to get his confidence up and experience that’s what happened last year now that he’s gotten used to being in the spotlight it’s over for the league a monster has just been unleashed be ready for a couple 30 point and possibly even a 40 point game from
Pritchard this year

lol im a celtics fan but its kind of messing with the numbers to point out pritchard has more threes than curry and points than lebron in this sense, curry is guarded by the best defender on the team at every possible moment, pritchard is rarely guarded by the teams best defenders, and hes scored more than lebron meanwhile some people are now starting to say lebron is washed and should retire, so that doesnt mean so much.
