People who think this should be a Celica Supra are plain crazy. In fact this 2.0 is as fast as a stock MKIV Supra Turbo... MKIV anounced 5.1seconds from 0-60mph, the new 2.0 Supra do it in 5.0.. How can you say this is not a Supra?? Its as fast as the all mighty MKIV Supra was. And since Supra part ways with Celica platform ALWAYS had two engine options.... and they always called it Supra.. And for the manual.. Toyota made no manual gearbox for the MKIV Supra, it uses a Getrag unit.

I really wish they would have taken some cues from the Sema show and redid the entire front end with the 90's look Supra and add the big round wing we all easily recognized, even if on the v6 only. I think those minor things would have completely changed the image more favorably. If you don't know what I'm talking about go look up Sema supras and you will see it. It genuinely reminded me of the 90's car and I was like oh wow I would buy that!

That 2.0L is "WRX" fast in quarter mile, good enough power imo. But I have a feeling this 2.0l will cost low-mid 40k. That's unacceptable for a "Toyota".
