Keenly, this is known as the "no-no disease" or "no-no gangrene" because the bacteria attacks the private area of males known as the perineum area.

Certain diabetes meds can trigger this condition. And if you are immunosuppressed, you are also in danger of this disease.

Generally, this is a medical emergency, because this can lead to sepsis (which can cause death) and also, the bacteria can also hit the penis area, attack that, and kill the cells of the penis off too and lead to gangrene too. If that happens with that bad bacteria spread, the penis would have to be amputated, and you would end up permanently impotent. Also, to prevent kidney failure, there would need to be a new graft exit for pee to come out--usually an access to the peritoneum area through a cath, just like you do in peritoneal kidney dialysis.

You don't want that from Fournier's!!!!
