P.S. Martha, I appreciated your beautiful and vulnerable share in regards to the journey of the passing of your sweet kitty and how you navigated that. I could definitely relate to so much of what you were feeling and continue to feel your way through. We are so blessed to experience the love of animals, though the pain can be excruciating when we lose their physical presence. Big hug! ❤

Thank you all! What a powerful gathering! We are so much in the center of layer upon layer of connectedness and Truth. This is "the place to be", I guess! I LOVe the phrases of "not only enlightenment but about endarkenment as well." It's all One, but each aspect needs to experience the other and the All. We have such limited teachings in the past that stressed more of throwing out the human and that the only "right" place was the enlightened side. But, the enlightened side also needs to learn about the human side, as well as vice versa, lest we think this only goes one way! The value of the human, embodied place-with all of its wonder and pain- is also Divine. That piece is huge coming from the places we've been and heard!!!! Jean Eilerman

So excited for this gathering. Sending my love to Kelly having just lost her sister and I assume she is also recovering from the hip surgery she had to repeat.... right now to listen past the first few seconds... thank you thank you thank you
Also just to add that I feel and recognise your grief about your little cat. When I had to say goodbye to my beloved dog after 16 years togther in Novemeber last year, I realised his parting gift to me was to teach me about deep grief.
Let us all hold everyone who is feeling grief with our love and care. ❤

Such a lovely deep dive discussion. Really appreciated all the perspectives!
Two thoughts came up as you talked about death/dying. One is from a recent interview with Dr. Gabor Mate, age 80, when asked about how he will feel when he knows the end is near. He didn't believe he could answer that at this time as it's not something he has yet experienced. While he said he may THINK how he may face that time when it comes, he didn't really know either until he is there. I really appreciated that honest answer.
The other is from Tasha Tudor, a children's book illustrator, when asked at the age of 80 also if she feared death she said, "I'm not afraid to die and I actually think it will be quite exciting!"

And one more thing, does anyone know from what tradition is the Medicine Wheel prayer of the Four Directions that Maura used to open the circle and to close it? I am familiar with another one that is shorter but this one was exquisite, heartfelt thank you again, much love and blessings

I am very sad for your loss, I remember having seen him very affectionate, I also lost my kitten, and it was years that I felt it, but I am sure that he continues to take care of you, thank you very much for this wonderful meeting of such beautiful and pretty and deep women &souls.
