Do lawyers ask their client if they are guilty or not?
Then knowing that their client is guilty makes it easier to figure out how to proceed?

I have a jury trial for my first offense of a domestic charge. I've heard twice it seemed like it was going to get dropped while on probation and my last court date I was told it was revoked for having marijuana in my system but I've done everything else right. One other thing is questionable (earning cna license but I explained I wanted to do in home care which you don't need a cna liscense and didn't get hired because they don't want to train someone new, along with covid training) I've been told to do both, plead guilty and not guilty. Idk what any of this means as it's my first offense and I'm very scared of what could come out of this. I've turned my whole life around since that night and still feel like I'm not getting anywhere.

I have jury trial coming up for fleeing do you think i would be foolish to not accept a 5 yr probation, 60 day jail time, under AR Act 346 or should I go to jury trial go into it as I’m guilty, I regret my decision everyday of my life I have a 9 month old daughter and I’m the only financial support for my household if I sit the 60 days with no income for my family we could lose the roof over our heads
