I've had a grom for years and it's my daily transport, 50 mile round trip for work 5 days a week and I love it . I sold my larger motorcycles because after riding a grom they are frankly boring. I do live in a very rural part of the UK so speed isn't necessarily a issue. As a daily they are Brilliant they cost next to nothing to run and maintain, everyone should at least try one .

I'm Brazilian and I can't avoid smiling a little seeing you guys like that "Grom" so much. 125cc and 160cc bikes are the standard around here and some people who have them only think about getting rid of them and buying a bigger motorcycle. It's comprehensible, since it's all most of those guys can afford and they want to ascend, but I really wish people understood better the simple and pure pleasure of riding, no matter the bike. Thanks for giving me a taste of that!

The Grom reminds me of the tiny toy (but still motorized) motorcycle that I would ride around the cul-de-sac as a kid. The experience of freedom of travel, especially on 2 wheels, was so novel and fun. It wasn’t about how fast you were going or how quick you could get there... it was about riding a little bike around and exploring. This bike would be worth the buy for me just to remind me of those times! It’s like the adult version of a kids bike, if that makes sense lol (in a good way).
There was a random kid that came up to me earlier in the week while I was doing yard work. He was riding a Razor scooter and told me about how the red scooters can go in the dirt but blue ones can’t and how he taped a piece of paper with a smiley face to the front of his scooter so that it could act like a sail and make him faster. I bet he’d love to have that little bike that I had when I was a kid and somehow the innocence and purity of the Grom reminds me of all this... like I would buy one and make sure that it’s red instead of blue so that it could go off road and I could tape a piece of paper with a face on it to the front of the bike to make it go faster.

I took my rider safety course on a Grom. I loved that little red headed stepchild.

The Grom reminds me of 90’s civics. Cheap and reliable transportation that handle well. If you want, throw in some readily available cheap performance parts and get solid performance gains on the cheap. Just like Civics, they also accept larger displacement Honda motors relatively easy as well.

Grom is simply Great. I have been riding all year long for over 30years (always owing 600cc or larger). But last year I bought a Grom to teach my 16y/o daughter to ride (as my Z800 was not suitable). But I found out what a fun ride it is and now has become my winter commuting ride (so much easier to handle lightly snow covered roads with <10hp instead of >100hp). I also found myself going through curves at higher speeds. With big CC bikes, it's too easy to brake hard before entering turns and then rely on the big HP to accelerate out (promotes lazy riding). But with the Grom, with the poor acceleration, you soon learn to enter turns much faster (not to lose speed) in order to exit quicker (promotes better skill riding). And when the wind and grade is just right, can hit 71 mph.

What Yammie Noob video has the most "honestly's" in it? I normally stop watching after the third one, but I thought I'd give you guys a tally.
3:36 To be honest
6:28 Honestly
11:10 Not gonna lie
13:50 To be honest
15:55 Honestly
Is he lying the rest of the time!?

The Grom is like that short ratchet wrench that no one likes to use but it’s underrated. You know that unloved wrench.

“Feel like I’m on a Toyota Corolla” 😂😂 Nice video. Definitely makes me want to try one out! I like how you’re giving an unbiased review about a motorcycle and enjoying the ride

"Great bike to teach others how to to ride" that is the BEST explanation for this bike

I have z125. I live 8 miles from work and ride it to work every nice day. I've gotten nearly 140 miles out of gallon of fuel. I have larger displacement bikes but absolutely love small displacement bikes. I want to collect them all like matchbox cars. The SSR razskull, the Benelli tnt 135, the Honda Grom or monkey.

Would have been cool if you had gotten a z125 and a Grom instead of two Groms. Regardless, I’m still here watching!

I got an used one with a little less than 2k miles on it, I'm at 22k+ miles and counting, I use it for deliveries (doordash, postmates) it's been very reliable on the stop an go traffic that I put it thru everyday. And an every now and then joy ride.

5:56 i had a talk with another guy who, like me, has a 50cc scooter next to his big bike. i told him: "i really don't know why, but the the moment i sit on that scooter, i turn into a 15 year old hooligan, again. no fear. no rules. no nothing. just skidding around the city like an absolute maniac."

I bought my girlfriend one, loved it so much I bought a second one, well I tried. I ended up with a Benelli 135 because groms are sold out everywhere. If I have an errand to run or time to kill I’ll ride the small bike over my 18 Harley 114 Breakout. Save for the power, it’s just more fun.

This bike should've made the dork list. The NM4 is way less dorky than the Grom.

7:34 I can get mine (2018 model, stock) over 60mph pretty consistently. Ive maxed it out at 62mph but could probably get it higher if I found I nice long stretch of road. Once you hit 50mph it starts to struggle but you can definitely get one without any mods over 60
