if you actually watch the last play where smith has the ball, Ewing is open baseline. Charles could have passed the ball for an open Ewing jumper. who knows if it would have went in, but its a better shot that what charles smith had in mind.

Charles smith had 12 pts, 6 rb in 29 min. Oakly had 6 pts, 4 rbs in 27 min. Ewing had 33 pts, 9 rbs in 44 min. Oakley being the blowhard he is seems to be more responsible than Smith OR Ewing, but never expect him to actually hold himself accountable.
