The Wild Reeds: Acoustic Guitar Sessions

The Wild Reeds—Kinsey Lee, Sharon Silva, and Mackenzie Howe—recently stopped by the AG offices to perform three songs in their irresistible style of dreamy California folk.

Watch the Los Angeles-based trio play "Let No Grief" and "Foreigner," off their debut album Blind and Brave, and the track "The World We Built."

While they now perform live as a full indie-rock band, this is a chance to see the women unplugged and boasting gorgeous three-part harmonies over a harmonium and two acoustic guitars (including a solid mahogany Martin 00-15 and a Loar LO-16).

I love watching the passion from these three women. Each one is so unique and beautiful. Yes, I have a girl crush on all of them.

The guitars are amazing and recorder friendly, I can tell by their sounds. Harmonium in the band is something different and exceptional add. So beautiful songs. All three amazing, I would totally hang out with Sharon Silva the face maker.

The middle one (during the first song) looks a bit like Gilly from GoT,
Love the sound ladies!

music is ok but I can't watch her faces. that sinewy girl singing just creeps me out.

first song pretty angry --awful.  Thumbs down.  Second song was better.  Softer more sensual delivery.  Third song ok,   good harmony.  But the lyrics are boring.  80 - 90% of songs are written about romantic relationships.  There are so many other dimensions of the human condition.
