I feel like IDFB will only have like 10-12 episodes with no real challenge just character development and missions, but at the end, something might happen that will release all the contestants remaining, which will release around October 2027

imho I don't think IDFB's upload schedule needs to be consistently accurate like BFDIA. you can still have the show span 13 months lore wise while the actual running time of the show being longer. take example in the GOAT Breaking Bad

i, for one, don't really care about continuity that much in BFDI. I just want IDFB to come out since i think it will be a fun season. but they could explain it by TPOT 15's time travel stuff messing with reality itself and creating alternate timelines where different seasons happen on different dates.

IDFB Being a mini season feels so right for the show. The last episode being the characters journey to the grasslands could be fun too. TV is also the only person that needs to leave the LOL.

honestly i'd rather prefer if they retcon it with something related to the shift or smth, i love idfb since it's like the only opportunity we have to see the contestants outside of a competition and it'd be pretty sad if they end up rushing it (tho doing something to get 2 people out of the lol instead of one per episode would be ok lol)

at the end of idfb, evil leafy dies (hence the cardboard cutout in bfb 6), it causes a huge shockwave that changes everything to the bfb style and allows time to progress normally again

About the BFDIA 6 thing, she says "our diary followers" and not "the viewers" as a reference to Ruby leaving the lens cap on the whole time.

in the unfinished original bfdia6, Book denies Ruby's yoyleberries after being sick of them. In the officially released one 10 years later, Book instead remarks that in an alternate universe he would've said no, but In this one he definitely said yes.

The simple solution as it stands now is that the original IDFB isn't on the same timeline as current BFDIA through TPOT.
