I first met with the Bolero appr. 65 years ago and never stoppend listening every once and a while. This version is fantastic and makes me realize that we can still make wonderful music.

I seriously wonder whether any of the young kids lucky enough to witness one of these classical flashmob performances will be able to grow up and be satisfied listening to whatever rap/urban contemporary will have evolved into in a few years.

They'll remember being at this performance the rest of their lives in all probability, and I just don't see how they could forget what it's like to be standing right next to a bass trombone doing glissandos in the upper register and seeing kids and adults bowing and strumming violins and violas and say "ho hum, let's see what young punks are using which vulgur descriptions of their various criminal behaviors accompanied by drum machines are popular today..."
